Join me for a weekend of workshops at one of my favorite places - Trilogy Sanctuary in La Jolla.
Friday 6:30-8pm
Slow Flow
This all levels class will begin with mindful movement- a slow flow that builds into a vinyasa with modifications for beginners and amplifications for those with more experience. Irene will take time to break down specific parts of the practice in order to refine your foundation and understanding of your body. The last part of class will be a guided meditation to gently ease you into deeper relaxation.

Back to Basics Strength Workshop
This workshop is focused on the foundational elements of a strong and safe practice. Starting with a wrist warm up, basic drills and assessing chaturanga and the poses that build strength, Irene will help you refine your technique. Next you will work on the flexibility and specific strength need to access arm balances ranging from crow to handstand. Expect to challenge yourself by trying new and old arm balances in a safe way, while learning what to work on in your daily practice. All levels welcome.

Advanced Flexibility Workshop
This workshop is specifically for those with a consistent practice that are looking for ways to deepen their flexibility in their back bending and beyond. Irene will share tips and tricks learned from circus performers, contortionists, and hand balancers in order to help you safely explore new depths. Expect to see things like flipping the grip in poses like bow and dancer, and bringing the feet to the head for cobra and eventually scorpion, splits and over splits, chest stands, and partner stretching.
